Famed aviator Amelia Earhart & her navigator Fred Noonan were captured by the Japanese military after the Lockheed Elektra landed in the Marshalls. Ultimately, they were taken to Saipan where Noonan was beheaded, and where Amelia died of dysentary in “the Old Japanese Jail.” That story, told throughout the Pacific, plus eye witnesses and key site locations are included in this souvenir booklet.
