Today's
Life Rhyme:
Trivia: Walt has written a brand new life rhyme EVERY week without fail for an unprecedented 370 week stretch! This
may just be one of the longest-running ezines on the planet!
The Clockwise Spin
Spin it always clockwise
And if nothing else you learn
The rule of 'always to the right'
is the only way to turn
Spin it always clockwise
for depending how you spin it
It slows and stops or gathers speed
with every passing minute
Spin it always clockwise
for more turns should be your aim
To get more turns in less the time
is how you win this game
Yes, spin it so you're clockwise
and make sure that life is fun
For ever wise to ticking time
is how life should be spun
COMMENTARY:
Like the movement of the hands of a clock, life is meant to be spun clockwise...all the time. A clockwise spin (to the right) is a positive spin. Spin (i.e. interpret) life in ways that are wise to the passage of time. Some people choose to spin things negatively, that is counterclockwise, and end up wasting time wallowing in self-pity and feelings of victimization. There's no time for that. The purpose of the clockwise spin is so you don't waste time indulging in thoughts that don't support your greatest good, expansion and growth. When you spin your life clockwise, you get more turns at bat and end up making the most of your time here. Practice. Simple.

Walt, I can't begin to tell you the inner excitement I feel from reading about you and the work you do. You've touched on so many areas I've felt in my soul but couldn't put into thoughts or words. For several years, I've had a driving force to work for myself. Even now, I feel that I will be successful. But I've allowed fear, doubt and lack of finances to over shadow my divine purpose. I am ready to take the steps to discover my passion and live a profitable life. Most of all, I now know that I was put on this earth to serve and share my gifts, and that is what I want to do...with a Passion.
For a long time, I believed whatever working and earning path one chooses in life starts from inside out; from one's inner spirit to the outer world. There has to be order and balance between the two. Thank you for confirming my belief and opening my mind and soul to so much more.
I will definitely contact you when I am ready to begin my coaching. I am also sharing your book and website with my friends.
Blessings to you in all that you do.

Hello Walt, I met you in dc a while back I believe when you were just starting, and
was not as big-time as you are now. You spoke at our Second Sunday
Gathering... and forever left and impression. There are several times I
have quit jobs to follow my passion... path, only to punk out and search
for work again. I found it to be easier to look for a job rather than
build my dreams. :-( However, that day, I signed up for you mailing
list, and have read your newsletters every week. Of course paying
particular to your life's rhyme. I have always exalted your poetry, and
would often read it to friends. Now I am finally ready to embark on my
dream (2 children later). I am starting a magazine, and I find that
your life's rhymes would be a beautiful addition to the magazine. Could
I reprint them with permission?
WALT REPLIES:
Funny you should write at this specific time! I'm actually compiling the first 365 Life Rhymes (though I like your "life's rhyme", too) into a comprehensive volume to be titled "LIFE RHYMES for the Inspired Life". At about 700 pages, it'll be one heckuva conversation piece! Feel free to request rights for any that you wish. You can be the first magazine to syndicate the Life Rhymes before the book comes out!
